Although I have been painting my whole life, I feel that my fruition is yet to come. I have recently completed my BFA at Concordia University, majoring in Art History and Studio Arts. The core of my work and concerns continue to deal with contemporary social issues relating to changes in society and protection of the environment. I am also particularly interested in the exploration of the figure in the context of societal issues and, of course, the graceful simplicity of nature.
My ambitions have always been focused on the 'materials and methods' of the artist…from the marks imposed by:
• Drawing with charcoal, pencil, silverpoint or inks to
• Painting using oils, acrylic, egg tempera, fresco secco, encaustic, glazing, watercolours to
• Printmaking using the ancient method of lithography, intaglio and monoprints.
I have always been interested in combining as many or as few methods as required.

The "metamorphosis" theme has played an integral part in my life, not solely in my art work but my personal life as well. I have only shed part of my shell…the best is yet to come.
