After graduating with a diploma in art, Sofire created children's books and games. She also worked for a number of years as a fashion artist.
While working in the art department of an engraving house, she attended figure drawing class at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Sofie then did fashion art for department stores amd advertising agencies.
She is presently doing portraits for children and cats. Her paintings express her love for children and animals.
