Rhonda Rakofsky was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and has also lived in
United States. She aquired her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Art Education at Concordia
University. She has also worked with Tromp L'Oiel in several reputable places throughout
Canada.
She gets her inspiration from Nature, her love of Animals as well as past
and present travels. Her main subjects are Landscapes with or without figures and
buildings but she is quite versitile and accomplished in portraiture and still lifes as
well as dabbling in more Fantasy Painting.
Currently, her paintings hang in Private
Collections in North America. She plans to return to teaching one day, but for now is
satisfied with Painting.
