I only discovered my passion for art approximately 5 years ago and I started my adventure in watercolours which I did for the first four years.
I am still trying to find my niche - I have tried landscapes, architectural / buildings, florals, still life and nature and I cannot decide which I like to do more, so I will keep trying until I find one that excites me more.
Also, last year I made my introduction into oils and I am also enjoying this medium, but my heart is with watercolours.
My only disappointment is that work interferes with my painting time so this has caused some big gaps in my explorations.
Unlike most of the other members of the Association that I belong to, I have had no formal training in my earlier years and this has been a big disappointment for me as I am limited in my experiences but I will just work harder to catch up.
