Monique is Montreal-born and at her best when being creatively responsive to her environment. Creativity in its most instinctive mode is her forte. Her focus is to offer a comprehensive artistic language through discovery and fun.
Her challenge is to integrate skills, intuition and mixed media within a framework to achieve a state of equilibrium. Her favorite is charcoal, translating her perception of light through organic matter.
Her visual art studies formally began in 1983 and have included schools in Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa and Atlanta GA.
Monique lives in Hudson and works in her atelier at home.
